Don't be fooled by media bias and fake news. 

The News was a place where one could go to get the facts / current events of the day, week, etc., without a politically biased "spin", or worse yet, outright false reporting of the facts often due to "rush to judgement" reporting to get the stories out quickly.

  Unfortunately unbiased news has become hard to find, as "The News" today consists mostly of highly politically biased "opinions", and very distorted reporting of the facts in order to pursuade their readers and viewers to support / vote for the political party that the news source is aligned with.
